Two Main Ways to Brew Tea Bags
There are two simple and popular ways to brew tea bags
Hot Brew Tea Bags
Hot brewing is the most traditional and widely used method. It brings out the fuller aroma, body, and warmth of the tea.
Heat the Water
Use fresh water and heat it according to the tea type:
Green tea: 70–80°C
Black tea: 90–100°C
Herbal tea: 95–100°C
Place the Tea Bag
Put one tea bag into your cup and let it fully submerge.
Steep Properly
Green tea bag: 1–2 minutes
Black tea bag: 3–5 minutes
Herbal tea bag: 5–7 minutes
Do not over-steep — this can make the tea bitter.
Remove & Enjoy
Remove the tea bag and enjoy it plain or with milk, honey, or lemon.
Cold Brew Tea Bags
Add Cold Water: Place 1–2 tea bags into a bottle or jar and add cold filtered water.
Refrigerate: Let it steep in the refrigerator for 6–12 hours.
